My place is the Highlands photos
We need pictures of you! We love scenic pictures of the Highlands, but we really want pictures of you enjoying the beauty, recreation, or culture of the region. Next time you’re enjoying yourself in a special place in the Highlands, whether it’s a favorite hiking or snowmobile trail, a local museum or farmstand, or your own garden or yard, take a picture and send it to us to use in a display at our fall conference. In thanks, we’ll send you a free copy of our new poster featuring barns in the Highlands.
Send digital images (the higher the resolution, the better) to: highlands@ttor.org or photographs to PO Box 253, Haydenville, MA 01039 (we'll scan them and return the originals to you.) Only photos from the 38 town Highlands region of Massachusetts are eligible for this offer. Please help us out by identifying the location of each photo. Questions? Call us at 413.268.8219.
| Winners of HCI Photo Contest 2003 |
In 2003, the Highland Communities Initiative sponsored a photo contest of images that highlight the special quality of the region. Photos expressed the essence of the Highlands, whether the scenic, historical, ecological, or recreational features of the region, or the pleasures of living in one of these 38 towns.
