Silvio O. Conte Refuge
A unit of the federal refuge system, the Silvio O. Conte Refuge works to involve the people of the Connecticut River watershed, especially landowners and land managers, in environmental education programs and cooperative management projects. Their Challenge Cost Share program provides small matching grants for local projects related to habitat research and management or education and outreach.
